3 Rustic Wedding Venues near Vienna
I would like to show you three, or maybe more (be sure to read this blog post until the end, because I left the best for last) wedding venues near Vienna, Austria, which will be suitable for a rustic vintage wedding. All of these places are beautiful, unique and surrounded by nature, some of them have also beautiful views, so I think that all those who love nature and vintage style will surely love them as well. While I was searching for a rustic wedding venues near Vienna, Austria, I found so many unique venues that I was wondering whether I should make a series posts about weddings location in Vienna in various styles? As a wedding photographer Vienna, I would like to help future brides and grooms at the beginning of their adventure, which is why such a series seems to be a good idea… Let's start! The order is random.
1) Himmelblau Rust
Himmelblau is wonderful wedding venue located in Rust on Lake Neusiedl. You can organize your wedding ceremony in a romantic courtyard or in a rustic barn, then celebrate your wedding day with your loved ones in an antique vintage cellar. Depending on the wedding decorations you choose, your wedding in Himmelblau can be in the style of boho or vintage. The place itself is already special, so it really doesn't take much decorations to organize dream wedding here. Best of all, this wedding venue is just an hour ride from Vienna. Additional advantage is that Himmelblau is located next to the Lake Neusiedl… and as a wedding photographer Vienna I attach great importance to the location. We absolutely need to take a few couple photos during the wedding day near the lake too!
2) Schloss Guntersdorf
About castles and palaces located near Vienna, which are also wonderful wedding venues, I should rather create a separate post (and I don’t say that such a post will not appear here), because there are so many of them, but Schloss Guntersdorf suits this post as well… with historical details from different eras, with a stone bridge leading straight to the castle and romantic Tuscan columns, it’s a perfect place to organize a romantic, vintage wedding. Schloss Guntersdorf is surrounded by nature, but located only one hour drive from Vienna.
3) Freigut Thallern
In Freigut Thallern you can celebrate both a church wedding in a charming chapel with a baroque altar and a civil outdoor wedding in an amazing garden. This wedding venue is a perfect place for a romantic wedding in vintage style! Freigut Thallern is surrounded by nature and vineyards, and located about half an hour ride from Vienna. In addition, there is also a ballroom at your disposal.
4) Weingut Holler
This is a little bit far from Vienna, but it so worth it! This wedding venue is actually a vineyard, located in southern Styria with beautiful views and rustic vibe. In Weingut Holler you can organize wedding ceremony in a vineyard or in a vintage barn, it depends on you!
